Megan and Jason had a gorgeous Old Town Farm wedding on a rainy autumn day. Old Town Farm (OTF) is a beautiful, historic farm filled with 12 acres of lush green farming land, wildflowers aplenty, and a cute little bike-in coffee stand. I recently learned that Old Town Farm hosts the Duranes Lateral, which is allegedly the oldest registered ditch in North America! Pueblo Indians also farmed this land long before the Spanish arrived, as stated on OTF’s website here.
Jason proposed to Megan at this coffee stand and they naturally had to host their wedding here at Old Town Farm. Although their September wedding brought a big downpour, it did not dampen (see what I did there?) the spirits of Megan, Jason, nor their wedding guests. With a little bit of patience to wait out the storm cloud, Megan and Jason moved their ceremony time a bit to find the perfect window to hold their ceremony. The rain certainly came down heavily for portraits (as you’ll see below!) but it didn’t stop us from taking time away from the cocktail hour to get portraits of the two newlyweds. Through the autumn rain, everyone rejoiced and joyfully danced in celebration of the marriage between Megan and Jason.
