When Morgan and Nick asked me to photograph their Boston wedding, I was beyond thrilled. Not only was I excited to visit the Boston area for the first time, but I was also sincerely excited that they had trusted me enough with their wedding to travel across the country to photograph it. I had photographed their mountain engagement shoot (which you can see here) the previous autumn and was incredibly honored to have the chance to photograph them again. Both Morgan and Nick are lovely and kind souls with family members that love them to pieces, many of which traveled miles from their homes in New Mexico to witness their union. The two shared their first look moments on the Boston Harbor Hotel dock, surrounded by the gentleness of the quiet February breeze. Although Nick shed a few tears moments after seeing Morgan in her wedding dress, the two continued their portrait session with laughter aplenty.
Being able to witness their very intimate ceremony, with only a handful of family members in the pews at The Shrine of Our Lady of Good Voyage, and photograph the delicate love these two have for one another was such an incredible experience and I’m blessed to have been a part of their special day. Thank you so much, Morgan & Nick, for bringing me to Boston to witness your delightful wedding.
